Established in 1974 as a cooperative laboratory of experienced scientists, is one of the first companies to produce restriction enzymes on a commercial scale. [2] Dr. Donald G. Comb is the founder and owner. In 1982 he established the NEB Foundation to support grassroots organizations working with the environment, social change, the arts, elementary education, and science.[3]
